YouTube ha publicado su ranking con aquellos vídeos que han marcado tendencia durante el año 2013, aproximadamente tres semanas antes de que este llegue a su fin. La versión original del Harlem Shake, el curioso "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)"y el siempre divertido "¿Cómo comen los animales?"son las tendencias generales a nivel global.

Por otro lado, en España cambian un poco las cosas. No abundan demasiado los vídeos de humor, información o el inglés en el top 10 general de tendencias en nuestro país. En España, 9 de cada 10 temas de esta lista son canciones prácticamente clónicas de Henry Mendez, jay Santos, Sergio Contreras o Kiko Rivera, entre otros. Rompe un poco la monotonía el infame y bastante amateur "Ola k ase"de Lory Money.
